SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
PSI provides comprehensive IT services in support of the VA Financial Services Center (FSC), including project management, research and assessment, technical services, software engineering, development, and system solution architecture to perform full system development life cycle (SDLC) tasks. This includes Tier 3 system sustainment, production, and analytical support for all FSC solutions, as well as system and application sustainment across the FSC’s software portfolio. PSl follows a scaled Agile methodology such as SAFe and adheres to the VA’s Veterans Health Administration Innovation Program (VIP) software development lifecycle, incorporating changes made by VA OIT as they evolve. Additionally, PSI provides Center of Excellence support, with optional mentoring and training to strengthen FSC’s internal capabilities. PSI is responsible for executing the required work, managing staff, and developing and refining processes and procedures to improve FSC’s overall maturity in software development and maintenance.
