WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER- VOICE SYSTEMS OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (O&M) SERVICES AND TECHNICAL REFRESH

We provide technical engineer support to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) to design, build implement and provide both operational and maintenance support for the Voice Systems. WRNMMC is the world's largest military hospital, with approximately 200 communication (Voice and data) closests, providing care to about a million beneficiaries per year around the globe in over 140 clinics. 


The Integrated Referral Management and Appointing Center (IRMAC) Avaya Voice System supports nationwide appointment scheduling and patient status update communications as well as supports the conference bridge system and the VeraSmart call accounting system which are both critical for the delivery of Patient Care and other vital services. Our team will also be responsible for upgrading the current Avaya CM version Avaya CM 10.

Support multiple buildings over a 243 acre campus

On August 1st, 2025 the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) successfully consolidated and cutover the entire telecommunications capabilities for both WRNMMC and the Integrated Referral Management and Appointing Center (IRMAC) sites from their Legacy Nutanix-hosted Avaya version 7 solution to a new VMware-hosted Avaya version 10 solution. This achievement places WRNMMC ahead of other facilities within the DHA, as the first installation to successfully upgrade to the latest Avaya version 10. With a cutover starting at 1830 on a Friday, End-users experienced little to no impact when they returned to work Monday morning.
